Creative practice for courageous transformation
Inis Oírr
Time in, Time out
Nestled on the edge of the wild Atlantic, this week-long retreat on Inis Oírr invites you to slow down, breathe, and immerse yourself in the island’s gentle rhythms. Each day becomes a journey deeper into stillness, presence, and The Work – the inquiry practice we hold – woven together with soulful singing, meditation, and shared reflections. With seven days to unfold, you can truly disconnect, recharge, and reconnect with your own inner self, discovering a peace and clarity that daily life often conceals. You will find that the process of the work starts to move in you, bringing new levels of understanding and peace into your life.
A nourishing balance of guided sessions and ample open space shapes the week: sea swims, silent walks, morning inquiries, music sessions, free time, alone time, shared time. In between we have shared meals and lots of laughter, and as always songs will weave through our days, grounding the inner work in moments of beauty and belonging.
Midweek, we board the ferry for a day trip to the neighboring Aran Mór – exploring new landscapes and stunning beauty together before returning to our restful base. For your ease, the retreat is fully inclusive: all nourishing meals are provided and ferry transport to and from the island is covered. In this spacious, sea-salted container of honest inquiry and care, you are invited to slow your pace, open your heart, and discover the deeper peace that Inis Oírr naturally awakens.
This gift of a week for yourself is truly life changing – there is a before and an after for this kind of investment for yourself.

The Work and the Voice
In June 2026, The Work Creative returns to the Netherlands for a weekend of deep reflection, music, and connection. Set in the peaceful surroundings of Waaldijk 15, this retreat brings together self-inquiry, meditation, live music, and the healing art of singing to create a space of openness, honesty, and joy.
Across the weekend, participants are invited to explore the relationship between thought, emotion, and expression, using both The Work of Byron Katie and the voice as tools for awareness and transformation. Through guided inquiry, vocal exploration, and shared reflection, the process gently uncovers the clarity and freedom that arise when the mind quiets and the heart opens.
Each day flows with rhythm and ease: singing, laughter, stillness, swimming, nourishing food, and meaningful conversation. Surrounded by nature and community, this retreat offers time to pause, to listen deeply, and to reconnect with the truth of who you are.

The Work Creative
In June 2026, The Work Creative Retreat will take place in Bundoran, County Donegal.
This transformative weekend retreat brings together Byron Katie’s powerful method of inquiry, The Work, with the soulful art of voice and song. Guided inquiry sessions with Dr Nadine Ferris France, combined with vocal exploration and live music led by Irish artist and community worker Eimear Crehan, create a deeply nourishing space for self-discovery, freeing limiting beliefs and expanding creative expression.
They will be joined by special Guest Facilitator Dr Easkey Britton who will deliver a powerful session on the Wisdom of Water and our connection to it, which will include an outing to experience ocean immersion in a sacred water spot in Donegal.
Easkey Britton is a pioneering marine social scientist, surfer, writer, and ocean advocate, she holds a PhD in Environment and Society and her research explores the relationships between humans and nature, with a particular focus on the health and wellbeing benefits of engaging with the ocean. Through an innovative practice that weaves science, art, and storytelling—reflected in her books Ebb and Flow and Saltwater in the Blood—Britton advances social and environmental change and fosters cross-cultural connections grounded in a deep connection to water.
